Over 100 guests and supporters joined IIBN for its launch event which took place in London on Wednesday, 28th March, 2007 at the Royal Society of Arts.

Our guest speaker was Enda O'Coineen, one of Ireland's most successful and charismatic entrepreneurs. Born in Galway, Ireland, Enda took a business degree from UCG before devoting the rest of his life to sailing and entrepreneurship. An adventurer and philanthropist, he has crossed the Atlantic single-handedly several times (once in a 16ft dinghy) and has raced around the world (once on his own).

He has an involvement in a group of over a dozen companies with a broad range of activities in recruitment, telecommunications, mortgages, banking and related services.

Enda is a tireless charity campaigner and is Executive Chairman of Kilcullen Kapital Partners, he divides his time between his family, Dublin, Prague and the oceans.
