TLICN

The London Irish Construction Network (TLICN) was formed in 2009 by a group of dedicated Irish businessmen all of whom are involved in the construction industry in London. The objective of the group is to create and encourage new business for all members within the group. Those who have attended have benefited and the group continues to grow.

On May 25th 2010 TLICN was officially launched at The Irish Club. The event was a major success and was attended by some of the industry’s most influential decision makers. Guest speakers included Patricia Brady, Economic Attaché from The Embassy of Ireland, Emanuel Carvalho, UK Manager, Environmental,Industrial and Life Science, Fionuala Pender, Executive Director of The Irish International Business Network and Mary Frawley, Executive Director of The Irish Club.

 

LONDON IRISH GRADUATE NETWORK

 

London Irish Graduate Network (LIGN)The London Irish Graduate Network (LIGN) delivers a networking platform for young professionals and students by bringing together like minded people in a social setting. They provide discursive and interactive panel based events covering topical issues in the world of business.

Through their networking events, LIGN targets to help young professionals build contacts and establish a network that will span the length of their careers. LIGN ultimately aims to be a network which will nurture the vast amount of young Irish talent that has immigrated to this city, building a platform for which they can launch successful careers. IIBN and LIGN are delighted to be official partners with LIGN and held our second joint event at Cass Business School on May 1st 2012.

 

CONNECT IRELAND

ConnectIreland was appointed by IDA Ireland to deliver the Succeed in Ireland initiative which is part of the Irish Government’s 2012 Action Plan for Jobs. Launched on March 8, 2012 by An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, over 100 internationally expanding companies were introduced by Connectors to the program during the first two months of operations.

The Federation of Irish Societies (FIS) is the national representative body for the Irish in Britain. Our mission is to achieve a confident, healthy & empowered Irish community participating fully in a multi-cultural Britain.

Working together with our 150 Irish cultural and community members we endeavour to raise the profile & contribution of the Irish community in Britain. The diversity of our membership is essential to this – covering activity in arts and culture, sport, Irish centres and welfare agencies. Linking with partners such as IIBN also enables us to profile and celebrate the achievements of successful Irish entrepreneurs and business professionals throughout Britain.
