We want to start the New Year with an event that gives everyone an opportunity to network and engage with  IIBN members.

This targeted networking event will see every attendee introduced to 5 others that they will not have met previously. These small groups will be formed in advance, based on likely areas of interest.

To enable us to form groups that best suit the needs of attendees we would be very grateful if you could click GOING in the Are You Going drop-down menu at the top right of the page.(when logged into your account).

Places are limited, so early registration is recommended.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Home Grown Private Club on 3rd February 2021.

April 2, 2022
Saturday
  • Climb with Charlie

  • Apr 2, 2022 from 11:30am to 3:30pm
  • Location: Cuilcagh, Co Fermanagh
  • Description:

Charlie Bird, the well-known Irish journalist and broadcaster, announced in October 2021, that he has developed Motor neurone disease, after experiencing problems with his voice.

On 7th January, Charlie launched ‘Climb with Charlie’, a fundraising initiative in which he will be climbing Croagh Patrick on 2nd April in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association and Pieta House.

IIBN is supporting this "Climb with Charlie" initiative, but instead of climbing Croagh Patrick on Saturday, 2nd April, we are going to climb the magnificient Cuilcagh Legnabrocky Trail, in Co. Fermanagh - see image below.

(It's not as difficult as Croagh Patrick and typically takes a total of 3 hours to ascend and decend!)

For those who would like to make a weekend of it, we will be arranging Dinner on both the Friday and Saturday evenings, as well as hotel accommodation in the locality.  (Further details on this will be provided shortly.)

The Cuilcagh Legnabrocky Trail is about a 2 hour drive from Dub
