Ellen is an author and thought leader, having written three books. A Practical Approach, is the core text for all courses in PR throughout Ireland. The 3rd edition, now international pr, was published by Macmillan Higher Education in November 2018. Also a regular media commentator in Making the News on Ireland AM show on Virgin Media One (previously known as TV3) and guest blogger for Microsoft’s SME website.
Ellen is also a member of the National Union of Journalists (NUJ) since the mid 1980s, and the Chairman of the Board of Dublin City FM radio station where she presents a weekly programme – Mediascope. And put a spotlight on issues of interest to public relations, journalism and event management practitioners (Tuesdays at 1.30pm on 103.2 Dublin City FM).
