NY Future Leaders Program
The IIBN is the most globally established, not for profit network connecting Irish entrepreneurs and business professionals. IIBN Launched the Future Leaders Program in London in 2014, which has been very successful, IIBN NYC Future Leaders Board are now introducing it to NewYork
The IIBN’s New York Future Leaders Program (FLP) has a clear objective of catalyzing the careers of young Irish professionals and entrepreneurs living in the Greater New York area with a focus on young business leaders across all industries.
Our goal is to facilitate the considerable numbers of young, well-educated, ambitious Irish people emigrating to New York with a support structure that goes beyond the realms of traditional networking by offering guidance, connectivity, expertise and a trusted confidante with no vested interest. By providing this multi-faceted approach to professional and personal development, the participants in the program will be given the best possible tools for success in best city in the world.
Each participant or ‘Future Leader’ will be matched with an established, successful Irish business person as part of a one-to-one, light touch, mentorship program. This will enable the future leader to have an ally and confidante they can rely on as they look to make their mark in their industry. These mentors have walked a similar path and gained a wealth of experience in doing so.
As well as mentorship, our program gives participants access to an array of development classes designed to aid their growth such as interview training, resume workshops, professional photography nights and much more.
The outcome will be an acceleration in growth and development for the Future Leaders, an equal sense of satisfaction from Mentors by leveraging the community’s knowledge and experience, building connectivity and developing the next generation of business leaders, both Irish-born and of Irish descent
